Collection of Information
P&R Electrical Wholesalers collects information about you in a number of ways. These could include from publicly available sources, from information you yourself provide us over the phone or via application documents, related companies, credit-reporting agencies, your representatives and of course from orders for goods and/or services you have placed with us.

Use and Disclosure
P&R Electrical Wholesalers may use the collected information about you to provide better service to you by better understanding your needs and making you aware of new products that we believe may be of interest to you. To conduct appropriate checks for credit worthiness and to protect both you and us from fraud. P&R Electrical Wholesalers will only collect data that is relevant to P&R Electrical Wholesalers

When requested, P&R Electrical Wholesalers will take all reasonable steps to provide you with details about the type of information we hold about you and how we are using that information. Access and Correction
P&R Electrical Wholesalers, when requested to do so, will take reasonable steps provide details of the information it holds about you to you except to the extent that the request does not have to be honoured as per sub clause 6.1 or 6.2 of schedule 3 of the Privacy Act 1988 as amended.

If you advise us in writing that the information we hold is incorrect or not up to date, P&R Electrical Wholesalers will either correct the information it holds, or, if we disagree, note that you have advised us in writing that the information we hold is incorrect and/or not up to date.

If P&R Electrical Wholesalers denies you access to the information held about you or refuses to correct information you advised us is incorrect, P&R Electrical Wholesalers will provide reasons for that denial or refusal to correct.

Identifiers
P&R Electrical Wholesalers may identify you to its internal systems by assigning one or more identifiers to your details. P&R Electrical Wholesalers will not use a third parties identifier or one that has been derived from any third party's identifiers, in particular from identifiers used by government or other regulatory agencies. The Privacy Act excludes the name, ABN and/or ACN as being an identifier for the purposes of the act.

Anonymity
Whenever it is lawful and practicable, individuals will have the option of not identifying themselves when dealing with P&R Electrical Wholesalers .

Transborder Data Flows
P&R Electrical Wholesalers will not transfer personal details of its customers to any party in a foreign country unless it is required to do so by law or can do so as per one of principle 9 sub-clauses (a) to (f). These reasons include, but are not limited to, the owner of the details consenting, the implementation of a contract between P&R Electrical Wholesalers and our customer or pre-contractual measures taken in response to a request from the customer.

Sensitive Information
P&R Electrical Wholesalers will not collect or hold information about a customer that can identify the customer's racial ethnicity , religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual preferences, memberships of organisations, or political beliefs except where it is relevant, unless we have your consent or are required to do so by law or are allowed/required to do so according to the Privacy Act 1988 as amended-
